Amenities

 

Sikes Estates on the Trail subdivision is a great place to raise your family.  Our HOA is very proactive to provide great amenitites for a low annual fee.  Our goal is to enhance the quality of life in our neighborhood, enforce our rules and covenants, and support capital improvments that benefit our members.

Low Traffic

South Shepherds Glen is the main street through our HOA properties.   There are 5 culdescas that branch off from it.  Our minimal traffic is generally from the residents since there is not much thru traffic.  We have signs at each entrance to remind drivers to be cautious because kids are frequently playing outside.

Trail System

 

There is a concrete sidewalk that gives direct access to the Wichita Falls trail system from our neighborhood.  Our trail rivals that of much larger metropolitan areas. It presently consists of over 18 miles of concrete trail.  Almost all of the trails are 10 foot wide reinforced concrete. They can be used for walking, jogging, bicycling, and roller blading.

Garage Sale

The HOA sponsors a community wide garage sale.  With many participating each year, it draws a good crowd to help dispose of unneeded items. 

 

After the sale, we invite local non-profit groups to pickup the merchandise to be sold at their retail store.
