  • How much are HOA dues and when are they due?
    Annual dues are $100 and they are due April 1, 2021. You can pay by check or through this website.
  • How many homes are in our HOA?
    There are 76 lots. A list of addresses in our HOA can be found on the Location page on our website.
  • How can I contact someone on the HOA board?
    You can send an email to sikesestates@gmail.com.
  • Where can I find a list of HOA rules?
    Most of our rules will be found in the Declaration of Covenants, Conditions, and Restricitons document on our website under the HOA Information page. Also, there is a summary of important bylaws and covenants in an easy to read document on this same page.
  • I am only renting a house in the HOA.  Can I participate in activities?
    Absolutely!! We want to give a sense of community to all of the homes in our neighborhood. You are free to be a part of our annual garage sale, BBQ picnic, and join our social media group. The only thing you won't be able to particiapate in are the business meetings and voting.
  • I heard about the previous drought here.  Does that affect when I can water?
    Yes. According to city rules: "It shall be unlawful for a person to run outside spray-type irrigation on any day of the week between 10:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m. unless one is using a hand-held hose that is equipped with a positive shut-off nozzle, soaker hose, bucket, watering can, bubbler or drip irrigation system."
  • What is the best way to stay informed about HOA activities?
    You can sign up for our Email List to receive official news and announcements from the HOA board. Your email is never shared and you can unsubscribe at any time. We also have a Facebook Group called Sikes Estates on the Trail. Links for both of these can be found on the Contact page on our website.
  • What is the walking/biking trail and how do you access the trail?
    The trail is a multi-use 18 mile trail maintained by the City of Wichita Falls. The city's plan is to encircle the city with this protected access trail. There are 2 accesses off S Shepherds Glen; 1) between 2939 and 2941 and 2) South of 2905.
  • What is the trash and yard waste/paper waste program for our area?
    The trash barrel is grey/black and pick up is on Tuesday and Friday unless the week contains a holiday. Changes are posted on the City of Wichita Falls website and in the Times Record News paper. The yard waste / paper/ cardboard barrel is green. No plastic bags, glass or metal is allowed. Pick up is Wednesday unless the week contains a holiday.
